Not Santa’s:

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of my process for creating this Christmas illustration. My idea was that he might be mistaken for Santa, or perhaps he really is! Leaving it up to the viewer to decide adds a fun and intriguing twist.

Daddy's Text:

Now that Sylvia lives alone, her parents are constantly checking in on her, especially her father, who knows all too well how unpredictable life can be, given his powerful influence and the risks it brings. He worries about her safety, often sending reminders or advice, and even insists on having someone keep an eye on her. But Sylvia longs for independence and a taste of the ordinary life she’s never had.

For her, even the simplest things, like doing her own groceries, driving a car, cleaning her room, or strolling through the park alone feel like acts of freedom. She cherishes these moments of self-reliance, far removed from the sheltered and controlled world of her family’s mansion.

“I just need some me time,” she said, as she tried to reassure her concerned father.

Spotted:

Kaiiser’s sharp instincts immediately picked up on Ryder when he spotted him in the quiet, shadowy alleys. It was late at night, and the world seemed to be fast asleep, but Ryder was wide awake, wande-ring alone. “He must be strong,” Kaiiser thought, watching him closely.

Ryder walked casually, but there was something intense about him. He had just had a fight with his brother, and the anger still clung to him. It was al-most visible in the way he carried himself, like his whole body was surrounded by a heavy, restless energy as he passed by.

Penelope:

Penelope is a highly skilled bodyguard hired by Sylvia’s father to protect her. Knowing Sylvia didn’t want anyone following her, especially a man, he chose Penelope as a compromise.

At first glance, Penelope’s small stature and cute appearance makes her seem harmless, but beneath that exterior lies a deadly force. She’s a master of more than three martial arts and knows how to intimidate when the situation calls for it. With her sharp instincts and unmatched skills, she’s the perfect balance of stealth and strength.

Elevated:

This painting captures a glimpse of what Kaiiser does in solitude, deep in the forest at night; trai-ning, improving, and exploring the depths of his potential. Around him, the energy takes the form of a glowing paintbrush, a manifestation of his unique abilities. As he immerses himself in his po-wers, he seems to be unconsciously leveling up, growing stronger, and elevating to a higher ver-sion of himself.

Question/Reflection:

This piece captures the quiet, haunting moment of staring into a mirror, searching for answers and finding only doubt. The reflection stares back, but it feels unfamiliar, like a monster shaped by the words and judgments of others. You wonder if simply existing is enough to make you the villain in someone else’s story.

The mirror doesn’t lie, but it doesn’t tell the whole truth either. It leaves you questioning: Am I really what they see, or something more? A reflection can’t define you, but it can make you reflect on who you are and who you want to be.

Bad Influence:

As a bike enthusiast, I felt inspired to create a painting that reflects my love for motorcycles while adding a touch of humor. One of the most enjoyable parts of the process was browsing through countless bike photos for reference. I couldn’t decide which one to draw!

The title, Bad Influence, ties into the story behind the piece. It features Ryder, in his first design, subtly pulling Kaiiser into mischievous antics, like changing the speed limit signs on a road. It’s a playful nod to how Ryder’s bold, rebellious personality, can tempt even the best into a bit of trouble.

Last Men Standing:

Last Men Standing features Ryder and his friend, designed to feel like a screenshot from a TV show. Creating this piece was so much fun, and the subtitle added a sense of realism that brought the scene to life. I’m really happy with how it turned out!

New Sight:

New Sight is a piece that was an exploration for both me and the character. I expe-rimented with minimalist colors while depicting Kaiiser setting foot in Aura, a com-pletely new city for him. It’s a moment of discovery and fresh perspectives.

This artwork was part of a short video I created, featuring Kaiiser and explo-ring who he is as a character. It was an exciting way to bring his story to life visually.

This artwork is a study and experimentation with dramatic lighting, designed to create a more captivating composition and striking contrast in color choi-ces.

This piece explores the relationship between the artist and their brush, cap-turing the search for its power in a serene natural setting. This was also part of the video I mentioned earlier.

Magical Symphony:

This artwork reflects the harmony between the creator and nature, celebrating their deep connection.

Leon’s Shop:

Located in a quiet neighborhood in Aura, Leon’s shop serves as a familiar checkpoint, cozy spot to meet up and connect.
